Artifacts as Experiments

Artifacts within Applied Complex Systems are not finished products or definitive answers. They are living experiments. Each artifact represents a moment of inquiry where ideas, methods, and tools are tested in the open, often before they are fully resolved. Some will evolve, some will be retired, and others may seed entirely new lines of work. This space is intentionally provisional. It reflects our belief that systems change requires room for exploration, iteration, and learning in public, with humility about what we know and curiosity about what might emerge.

Signal Spotting Dashboard

The Signal Spotting Dashboard is an exploratory tool for identifying early signals of change across complex systems. It is designed to support sensemaking rather than prediction, helping practitioners notice patterns, weak signals, and emerging dynamics that may otherwise remain fragmented.

Systemic Finance Mapping

Systemic Finance Mapping explores how capital flows, power dynamics, and incentives interact across interconnected systems. Rather than focusing on isolated funding mechanisms, it surfaces relationships, feedback loops, and structural constraints that shape financial outcomes over time.
